PR & Social Media Manager
Job Overview
As PR & Social Media Manager, you will be a key player in the marketing team, leading the brand’s global PR strategy while owning and evolving Filippa K’s organic social media presence. You will manage global press relations, influencer strategy, and brand storytelling across earned and owned channels to build awareness, strengthen community, and drive advocacy.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Public Relations:
- Develop and lead an effective global PR strategy and calendar aligned with collection launches, key product drops, and seasonal trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with press, media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Pitch and present story angles, brand features, and product placements in line with the marketing strategy.
- Coordinate press days, brand events, and celebrity/influencer seeding strategies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on press coverage to ensure ROI.
- Guide and support regional PR agencies, ensuring global alignment with room for local creativity.
- Handle incoming media requests and manage send-outs.
- Manage and update image library.
Social Media:
- Own and evolve Filippa K’s organic social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive brand engagement and community growth.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with collection launches, brand storytelling, and cultural moments.
- Lead the creative briefing and execution of original content that leverages brand values and strengthens brand relevance.
- Collaborate with creative, design, and e-commerce teams to deliver engaging, high-quality content (photo, video, copy).
- Monitor performance, analyse insights, and optimise content strategy to maximise reach and engagement.
- Stay ahead of trends in social media and digital culture, bringing fresh ideas to strengthen brand presence.
- Manage community engagement, ensuring Filippa K’s tone of voice is consistent and authentic across all touchpoints.
Influencer Marketing:
- Create and implement a clear influencer marketing strategy.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with influencer partners, ensuring consistent communication.
- Actively source and negotiate new influencer partnerships that align with brand goals.
- Monitor influencer content to ensure it reflects brand voice and guidelines.
- Set goals, track conversions, and measure the success of collaborations.
Qualifications
- Higher education in Public Relations, Media & Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
- 6+ years of professional experience in fashion PR and social media, ideally in an international luxury or premium environment.
- Strong knowledge of media landscape and social platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp editorial eye.
- Proven experience in content creation and social channel management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and strategically.
- Experience hosting and managing events.
