We are now looking for a Design Intern to join the Design team at our Head Office in Stockholm.

Founded by celebrated Swedish fashion designer Filippa Knutsson in 1993, Filippa K has grown internationally to become a household name synonymous with Scandinavian style. Timeless silhouettes are re-interpreted within the context of modern life, with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail resulting in ready-to-wear collections for women and men. The Stockholm-based fashion house has begun an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Liisa Kessler as Creative Director alongside a range of new international talents across the company. With stores in key European cities such as Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Berlin, an ecommerce presence in over 70 markets, and over 200 employees across Europe, Filippa K continues its journey of global expansion guided by a mission of mindful consumption.

The role
As a Design Intern you will be with our design team and learn about how to develop the collections sold in all the Filippa K markets both offline and online. Moreover, you will be a part of the daily administrative work as well as collaboration with other departments (designers, pattern makers, buyers and merchandiser). Administrative work in PLM, lab dips, fitting updates and help to organize meetings and fashion shows etc.

• A team player with strong passion for design and appreciate working in a small team
• Is creative and has a sustainable mindset in everything you do.
• Are highly proactive, independent and enjoy versatile work tasks
  
• Has a passion for Filippa K’s design idea and philosophy
• Is open minded and flexible
• Has excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Strong organizational/planning skills and delivers on time
• Contributes to a good atmosphere in the team

The experience you’ll bring to the role is:

• You are a student studying a bachelor or master’s degree in fashion design
• You can complete administrative work in PLM
• Expertise in Illustrator
• Is fluent in English

The role will be in Stockholm and is a full-time minimum 3 months with a start date in August.
