We are now recruiting a Product Developer - Knitwear as a parental leave cover to our Product Development team at our Head Office in Stockholm.

The mission of the Product Developer - Knitwear
Product development of the Knit collection in close collaboration internally with design, pattern, fabric, merch and PD & Production Manager, externally with our agents & suppliers. Ensure all steps of product development is being followed, communicated, and understood by all parties involved within the time frame. Drive product development process improvements towards a luxury brand set-up including increased flexibility, higher product execution level and shorter prototype lead-times.
Your responsibilities will include (but is not limited to)
- Develop products based on a brief, sustainability goals, and design direction with a high level of product execution.
- Sourcing all yarns and for ensuring high quality standard in line with Filippa K’s requirements.
- Deliver products on margin targets, continuously striving for cost and efficiency balanced with quality execution on detailed level.
- Responsibility for new products from prototype to salesman sample including tech pack creation, BOM responsibility with high level of accuracy, and attention to detail, product fit, pricing and vendor communication.
- Proactively engage to ensure high class garment construction and engineering according to Filippa K product check-list.
- Business travel according to need and budget.
We’re looking for someone who has
- Good knowledge of yarn sourcing and technical knit construction.
- Understanding on how to work towards the most sustainable product in-line with other requirements.
- Comfortable with deadlines and a fast pace working environment.
- Detail oriented with a high sense of quality making.
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
The experience you’ll bring to the role is
- Degree in textile
- Minimum of 4 years working experience in Product development
- Experience with certifications is a big plus
The role will be located in Stockholm and you will report to the Production Manager. The position is a parental leave cover on full time, with start mid June 2025.
