HEAD OF BRAND AND IMAGE TO FILIPPA K HQ

We are now recruiting a Head of Brand and Image to join the Marketing team at our Head Office in Stockholm.

Founded by celebrated Swedish fashion designer Filippa Knutsson in 1993, Filippa K has grown internationally to become a household name synonymous with Scandinavian style. Timeless silhouettes are re-interpreted within the context of modern life, with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail resulting in ready-to-wear collections for women and men. The Stockholm-based fashion house now has over 200 employees across Europe, and continues its journey of global expansion guided by a mission of mindful consumption: creating fewer, better pieces, designed to last.

 

The role:

As Head of Brand and Image at Filippa K, you will be responsible for our visual identity and brand expression. The role will cover all stages of content production – concept idea generation, developing strategy and innovative solutions, and overseeing design execution. Your mission will be to consistently strengthen and evolve the brand identity, elevating its image in line with the strategic goals of the company by working in close collaboration with all departments. You will be assessed on your ability to transform creative ideas into outstanding visuals and communication that will drive awareness and engagement. The role therefore requires a strong creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a digital first mindset, who has an acute understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts. 

  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strengthening and elevating the brand position within the fashion industry 
  • Concept ideation and identifying strong story angles
  • Seeing ideas through to execution across all channels and touchpoints
  • Creating unique digital and physical customer experiences 
  • Owning the visual identity while developing and maintaining brand guidelines
  • Developing short and long term strategy that drives brand awareness and engagement 
  • Leading the creative team on set to achieve the desired outcome
  • Overseeing projects from pre- to post-production, ensuring they meet budgets and deadlines
  • Supervising and directing the creative work of other team members
  • Ensuring third party creative agencies receive accurate briefs and maintain current Filippa K brand strategy and creative guidelines

 

The experience you´ll bring is:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience with proven success in a senior creative role within the fashion/luxury brand industry
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in art/design/communication, or a similar field
  • Experience in project and team leadership
  • Experience within graphic design, with a strong visual sense and sharp eye for detail
  • Creative and strategic awareness with an original point of view 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; the ability to verbalize your ideas and convince internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of commercial objectives
  • Extensive industry network
  • Advanced understanding of Adobe suite
  • High level of taste and understanding of fashion
  • Strong interest in current movements/trends in creative industries such as graphic and fine arts, design, and photography
