JUNIOR PATTERN MAKER TO FILIPPA K HQ

We are now recruiting a Junior Pattern Maker to join the Pattern Team at our Head Office in Stockholm.

The Role

As a Junior Pattern Maker at Filippa K you will be part of a driven pattern team that collaborates across departments in the company. Together with the team you will be developing and constantly working towards achieving the best fit possible.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pattern making in Gerber system, visualize design ideas through 3D or inhouse toilés
  • Ensure making, fit and size consistency, in line with FILIPPA K brand DNA and visual identity
  • Supplier technical instructions, pattern and measurement list in PLM system
  • Handling and controlling supplier samples
  • Book and participate in fitting sessions with fitting model, pattern makers, designers and buyers
  • Close communication with design and buying
  • Other duties that might be connected to the position.


The experience you’ll bring to the role is:

  • College, University of Applied Sciences or similar higher education in pattern making and garment production
  • Minimum one (1) year of work experience as a pattern assistant or similar
  • Entry level pattern making skills, using CAD system preferable Gerber.  
  • Entry Level grading skills
  • Sewing skills
  • Microsoft office and Adobe Illustrator
  • Fluent in English

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has knowledge of the process of how to manufacture garments in a big scale
  • Has a passion to learn and always look for new ways of improving
  • Is a strong team player 
  • Has the ability to adapt to change
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Has knowledge of 3D pattern making in CLO3D or similar software
  • Has basic PLM knowledge
